Classes at private schools are open only to students of that school unless stated otherwise. Classes at public schools do not have such restrictions.
Cancellations and Refunds
Jano Hindi Classes:
Registration fees will be refunded once a written request for cancellation is received by the end of the third day after the first class. A processing fee of $25 will be deducted. No refunds will be made after the fourth day after the first class. No prorated refunds will be given. Full refund for a course cancelled by the organization will be processed automatically. The organization reserves the right to change teachers and cancel classes when necessary. A processing fee of $25 is required for paper registrations. No makeup class is offered for classes missed by the student. There is no refund after material has been received by the student.
Camp Jano India:
January – April 30 : Registration fee will be refunded minus processing fee of $25/per week/per camper if we receive the request on or before May 15th.
May 1 – May 31: A processing fee of $50/per week/per camper will be applied when cancelling before June 1.
No refunds/cancellations will be made after June 1. Camp fees are not refunded or prorated for days of camp missed due to illness or injury. Policy applies to all camp cancellations, regardless of original sign-up date.
Private (1-1) Classes Only:
A 24hr notice needs to be given by the student prior to class cancellation request if they wish to avoid being charged for the class.
Children may enroll even after classes have started. There is no prorating of fees; hence parents are advised to try out one class before registering.
There is no transfer fee for doing transfers between classes until Nov 30.
There is a $25 transfer fee if the transfer is done after Dec 1. If
there is a tuition difference between the two classes, it will have to
be paid prior to doing the transfer.
Pickup Policy & Late Pickup Fees
Please pickup children as soon as class ends in order to avoid late pickup fees. A late fee of $2/min will be applied 5 min after end of class.
I state that I am the parent and/or legal guardian of the student(s) I am registering. As the parent or authorized representative, I hereby give consent to have my child attend the US Hindi Association(USHA) Programs. I will not hold US Hindi Association and its staff liable of any accidents, physical or other injury from any and all claims, demands, costs, expenses, and compensation. I will not hold US Hindi Association and its staff liable for any injury, accident or misuse of any services and materials provided by the organization and its staff.
I recognize that under ordinary circumstances, every effort will be made to contact the parents in case of illness or emergency. However, in some situations USHA authorities may need to get permission from or turn the care of my child over to one of the adults indicated on the registration form. In the absence of these or any other specific directions, USHA authorities are empowered to use their best judgment in the interest of the health and safety of my child. I will not hold US Hindi Association and its staff liable of any accidents, physical or other injury from any and all claims, demands, costs, expenses, and compensation. In case of an emergency, I give permission to US Hindi Association and its staff to obtain medical care. This care may be given under whatever conditions necessary to preserve the life, limb or well being of my child. I agree to these terms freely and voluntarily without inducement for myself.
If my child is found to be disruptive or disrespectful in any form or not able to follow school rules in the Jano Hindi/HindiforUS class by the classroom teacher(s), I accept his/her dismissal from the class for the rest of the school year. USHA will offer no refunds. Classroom teacher’s decision is final and I agree to abide by that decision. I also accept liability for any material damage caused by my child’s behavior in school.
Photo & Video Policy
I give consent for my child be photographed or videotaped and allow the use of this multimedia by USHA without naming the child.
